Main Responsibilities:

As a Bridging Underwriter with us, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of loan applications and assessing the associated risks. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing Preliminary Offer Letters.

  • Coordinating with external professionals, such as lawyers and valuers, and overseeing their engagement.

  • Ensuring timely receipt of reports from legal, valuation, and project monitoring teams.

  • Following up on recommendations and ensuring their timely implementation.

  • Preparing Preliminary Credit Paper, analyzing risk areas, project viability, and more.

  • Conducting thorough due diligence on borrowers, transactions, and development plans.

  • Reviewing loan agreements, security documents, and suggesting necessary amendments.

  • Preparing the Final Credit Paper, summarizing internal and external analysis.

  • Assisting with investor reporting and ensuring their satisfaction with transaction terms.

  • Handling questions and queries from Principals and facilitating credit committee approvals.

  • Managing the loan transaction completion process and transitioning to the asset management team.
